About Triad Intergroup

If you are a compulsive overeater, or if you engage in other compulsive food behaviors, you are invited to attend the OA meetings in our area.  As always, there are no dues or fees for membership – we are self supporting through member donations.

We understand what you're going through, because we've been there (or are there) too.

By working the Overeaters Anonymous 12-Step Program and using the Tools of Recovery, together we can find emotional, spiritual and physical recovery.

The Triad Intergroup is committed to supporting all of the meetings in the Triad area – those affiliated with us as well as those unaffiliated. In addition, Triad Intergroup seeks to cooperate with neighboring Intergroups, and be a full participant in Region 8 and World Service activities and events.  We hope to make information about our Intergroup and our meetings more widely available to those who still suffer from compulsive overeating and to medical professionals who might refer such people to us.  Our goals for the future include supporting new meetings in Alamance, Caswell, Randolph, Rockingham and Stokes Counties, as well any other group that might request our support, as well other outreach, public information and special event activities.

Triad Intergroup welcomes all members of OA to attend IG meetings – we need your vision, your thoughts, your understanding, and your ideas!  At this time, Triad Intergroup supports meetings in Forsyth, Guilford, Surry, and Wilkes Counties.

To keep up with Triad IG, please subscribe to our monthly newsletter!  In fact, if you can share your experience, strength and hope, please WRITE AN ARTICLE for our monthly newsletter!

And remember, Keep Coming Back! It works if you work it!
